Bruno, 47, was caught by a laser gun on the A11 near Cambridge, but the city's magistrates decided not to impose a ban after hearing that it would stop him from doing charity work.
He was returning from a do for 400 special needs kids on June 16 when police stopped his car on the A11 near Great Wilbraham for speeding.
Bruno was keen to get to the gym because a daily workout helps him deal with his bipolar disorder, The Sun reports.
Bruno admitted speeding. JP Ann Wade told him: "We want to keep you on the road for all the charity work you do."
