Don Bosco (Borivli) beat Vibgyor (Goregaon) by an innings and eight runs to win the MSSA U-14 Giles Shield Plate Division cricket title recently. In the final, Don Bosco, batting first, were bowled out for 195 off 51.1 overs with Gaurang Bhogle (75 runs) and Vinit Paralkar (32) doing the bulk of the scoring. Aryan Deora took 5-6 for Vibgyor. In reply, Vibgyor were bowled out for 66 off 49.4 overs as Bosco’s Vinit Paralkar took 6-33. Following on, Vibgyor were bowled out for 121 off 40.2 overs with Paralkar taking 5-45.
