Pune: A nine-race card is programmed for Saturday at the monsoon racetrack with the Her Majesty Trophy, a mile-and-a-half affair for class I horses which is slated as the feature event. Heather deserves the prime contender status along with Phenomenal Memory.
And since there was only a length between the two when both of them had last run together on this track three weeks ago in a race that was won by B Fifty Two, a close contest is likely between the Pesi Shroff-trained Heather and Dallas Todywalla-trained Phenomenal Memory on whom S Zervan will now do the duty in place of Yash Narredu. Heather, I believe, has a slender edge despite being asked to concede a chunk of weight to the Todywalla ward.
