India ended with two bronze medals in the international boxing meet in Almaty, Kazakhstan, with Santosh Harijan and Jitender Kumar losing their semi-final bouts in the 52 and 56 kg categories respectively

India ended with two bronze medals in the international boxing meet in Almaty, Kazakhstan, with Santosh Harijan and Jitender Kumar losing their semi-final bouts in the 52 and 56 kg categories respectively.

Jitender, competing in his first tournament since his bronze medal winning performance at the 2009 Asian Senior Boxing Championship, lost 8:12 to Jakipov of Tajikistan.

Santosh, a silver medallist at the National Games in Jharkhand, fought hard against Ali Baybozov of Kazakhstan before the latter edged him out with a 10:9 scoreline.
