World champion Jenson Button topped the times in Friday's free practice for Sunday's Turkish Grand Prix -- and then warned that the speedy Red Bulls remain the team to beat.

The 30-year-old McLaren driver narrowly outpaced nearest rival and current championship leader Mark Webber of Red Bull to clock the fastest lap.

The British driveru00a0 said: "Don't be fooled by that! The Red Bulls are much quicker than they show - so it's a normal Friday. You don't catch up a second in a couple of weeks.

"For me, the car feels reasonably good around here -- there are still some areas where we're not so strong, but I think we have a chance."
