Keanu D'Souza and Marc D'Souza's hat-tricks helped Don Bosco (Matunga) whitewash underdogs St Francis D'Assisi (Borivali) by 12-0 to advance to the quarter-finals of the boys' U-12 Nike-MSSA inter-school hockey tournament yesterday. This double-digit defeat was the tournament's largest after a week of competition. Best friends Keanu and Marc have grown up studying together since Senior KG and also excel in the same sport.
They live in Wadala, study in the same division and also played together in the inter-school football tournament where Keanu was awarded the best player of the tournament. "We have always been together. Whenever we play, we look out for each other in the field. Our combination works most of the time, but we always combine well with all of our other teammates. That's how we score big," said Marc.
