Boys' U-17 top seed Rahul Baitha escaped to an exciting win in the Khar Gymkhana-SYSKA Open squash tournament yesterday.
Baitha faced stiff resistance from Avinash Sahani in a gripping best-of-five quarter-final before snatching a hard-fought 10-12, 11-7, 11-8, 12-14, 11-5 win. Baitha set up a semi-final cash with third seed Avinash Yadav, who beat Ansh Punjabi 12-10, 11-7, 11-9.
