Manchester United stars have been left "shaken and upset" over the murder of football-mad 12-year-old schoolgirl Tia Rigg.
Meanwhile, Maden, the brother of Tia's mother, has been arrested on suspicion of murder.
Detectives charged him with Tia's murder and he will appear before a Manchester City Magistrates' Court on Tuesday.
A post mortem examination concluded that the 12-year-old died as a result of 'ligature strangulation and a series of stab wounds to her stomach.'
Police have so far declined to release information about the murder weapon, or who made the emergency call.
