The committee has been mandated to fix responsibility of the main actors, political as well as those holding positions in the Organising Committee, whose failure to discharge key roles almost led to the Games being called off.

Deal transparent: DD Public broadcaster Doordarshan and SIS Live, the UK-based company which had the sole broadcasting rights for CWG games with a Rs 246 crore contract, refuted allegations of impropriety saying the deal was transparent.
