Vitthal Salunkhe, the coach of Mumbai Police women's kabaddi team on Saturday died following a heart attack at the Police Parade Ground in Naigaon, police said

The coach of Mumbai Police women's kabaddi team on Saturday died following a heart attack at the Police Parade Ground in Naigaon, police said. Vitthal Salunkhe (45), a police naik, fell down on the ground at 7 am due to dizziness, a senior police official said.


Salunkhe, was rushed to a nearby civic hospital, where he was declared dead after medical examination, he added.



The body was handed over to his kin. Salunkhe's last rights will be performed at his native place in Kolhapur, the official said.
