Fourth seeds University of Mumbai went down fighting to defending champions and top seeds Gujarat University in the semi-finals of the West Zone Inter-University Tennis Championship, organised by HR College Sports Council, at the MSLTA, Cooperage yesterday.
The Mumbai pair won the opening set comfortably before Gujarat came back to win the second and force the super tie-breaker, with Gujarat snatching an exciting 10-5 win.
