Mumbai dominated the Sports Journalists Federation of India (SJFI) meet by winning the A C Bali table tennis team championship and the quiz competition.

Mumbai's Gordon D'Costa and Abhijeet Kulkarni clinched the doubles title with a 11-6 11-7 victory over the Delhi pair of Rakesh Rao and Suresh Kaushik in the final.

Results: Table tennis: Team Championship (final): Mumbai bt Banglore 2-1 (Gordon D'Costa lost to R Kaushik 5-11, 6-11; Pradeep Vijaykar bt Mallikacharan 11-9 11-7; Gordon and Abhijeet bt Kaushik and Mallikacharan 11-6 11-5. Doubles (final): Abhijeet and Gordon (Mumbai) bt Rakesh Rao and Suresh Kaushik (Delhi) 11-6 11-7.

Penalty Kicks quiz competition: Mumbai beat Delhi 5-2; Final: Mumbai beat Banglore 4-1; 3rd place: Delhi beat Kolkata 7-6.
