In an interesting picture captured by our lensman Suresh Karkera, Mumbai Schools Sports Association's (MSSA) Hon general secretary Esmero Figueiredo (right) was seen helping groundsman Rakesh Gaud to erect a tent for the press at MSSA's Azad Maidan ground yesterday.
Every year, the press tent is ready before the new football season begins, but the 124-year school body seems to have been under-prepared this year as earlier this week, a part of the stand on the ground collapsed on the opening day. The facilities still remain the same after reports of players getting injured had appeared.
