In a fast-paced matched encounter, the Bandra side went ahead in the first half through a fine solo effort by Neville D’Cunha. In the second half, the Bandra boys — the defending champions here — dominated the proceedings and the Matunga lads were forced to go on the defensive.

Andrew’s did well to keep a check on Don Bosco striker Marc D’Souza and without his help the Matunga outfit hardly looked threatening. The Bandra college will now represent Mumbai district in a state-level tournament in Yavatmal next month. u00a0
