London: One Direction star Niall Horan will assist Europe's Ryder Cup golf team in an ambassadorial role when they take on the US later this month.
The continent's finest golfers are set to do battle with an American team at Hazeltine National Golf Club, Minnesota from September 30 to October 2.
"I think I'm going to be involved with the Ryder Cup team to try to do a bit for them and help them concentrate on their golf," Horan said.
