In the latest Badminton World Federation (BWF) rankings, released yesterday, the 18-year-old jumped two places to No 10 while citymate Saina Nehwal retained her No 4 position.
After reaching the men’s singles quarter-finals of the Worlds, Parupalli Kashyap also rose three places to be ranked World No 14 .
RMV Gurusaidutt and Ajay Jayaram maintained their respective No 20 and No 24 positions.u00a0
