Ramlila organisers around the city are gearing up to bring a slice of Ramayana for athletes and tourists during Ramnavami that coincides with the Games
The October 3-14 Games will coincide with Ramnavami, to be held from October 8-17. Ramlila organisers are drawing up several plans to attract the tourists to see the folk drama.
"We are preparing air conditioned rooms for players and foreign delegates.

Ramlila organisersu00a0 are planning to give a kit consisting of CD of Ramayana in English to foreign athletes and tourists.
We are sending out invitations and have spoken to the ambassadors of various countries," Arjun Kumar, general secretary ofu00a0 Lav Kush Ramlilla committee that host the programme at Red Fort grounds.
He added, "We are planning to give a kit consisting of CD of Ramayana in English along with a booklet on all venues of the CWG, tourist destinations, rail routes along with the epic print that they can take with them."
As the Games and Ramlila celebration is overlapping, the Delhi police has also stepped into ensure safe conduct of the epic drama.
"Restrictions have been imposed on the fairs during Ramlila till October 14," said Rajan Bhagat, Delhi Police spokesperson.
Keeping in view security concerns, the Ramlila organisations are planning to bring in private security agencies and putting into place measures suggested by the Delhi police.
"We are placing CCTV cameras around the place and covering the boundary of the venue with an iron sheet. Security agencies have been roped in and cops will man the place from a check post," said Kumar.u00a0
Similar plans on security were also echoed byu00a0 other organisers who are waiting to receive the tourists from 71 countries.
