Mumbai skipper Wasim Jaffer knows what Rahul Dravid can lend to a team. After all, he was Dravid's teammate in each of his 31 Tests for India.

Jaffer's Mumbai defeated Delhi by virtue of a first innings lead to enter the Ranji Trophy final where they will meet Karnataka in Mysore from January 11 to 15.

Dravid will not be part of the Karnataka team as the big-ticket event in domestic cricket clashes with India's Test series in Bangladesh which begins on January 17. "They (Karnataka) have played really well this season, but Rahul's absence is big blow for them," declared Jaffer

He was quick to go into safe mode though: "But even then, they are formidable. They have the resources and the capability. Also, the final (matches upto semi-final stage are of four-day duration) will be played over five days, so that's one thing which we will have to adapt to."
