Melbourne: Red Bull's Daniel Ricciardo was excluded from the Australian GP results despite finishing second after FIA stewards said his car ran on a fuel flow rate much higher than the prescribed limit (100 kg/h).
Red Bull said it will appeal the decision: "Inconsistencies with the FIA fuel flow meter have been prevalent all weekend in the pit lane. The team is confident the fuel supplied to the engine is in full compliance with the regulations."
