Indian Navy's Rajan Lakra bid farewell to his hockey fraternity with a crucial opening goal as Southern Navy Command (SNC) beat the Eastern Navy Command (ENC) 5-1 in the final of the Navy Championships at the MHAL Stadium, Churchgate, recently.

Lakra, who has been part of the Navy outfit for the last 18 years, scored the opener after which Pawan Kumar, LL Singh and Narinder Kumar scored a goal each to give SNC a comprehensive win. AS Kaul pulled a goal back for ENC.
