Indian shooter Shagun Chowdhary's London dreams came to a disappointing end after she failed to qualify for the finals of the women's trap event, finishing 20th out of 22 shooters at the Royal Artillery Barracks on Saturday.
Jaipur-based Shagun (29) started off well by shooting 23 out of 25, but 17 in the second series and a 21 in the third round gave her a total of 61, which was not enough.u00a0
Jessica Rossi of Italy topped the qualification round on her way to a world record score of 75. Slovakia’s Zuzana Stefechekova finished second with 73 while Suzanne Balogh of Australia came third after firing 72 in the qualifiers.u00a0
