New Delhi: India's Harinder Pal Sandhu went down to local challenger and second seed Campbell Grayson in four games in the quarterfinals of the NZ International Classic squash tournament in Palmerston North, New Zealand today.

Sixth seed Harinder had led 9-7 in the first game but Grayson caught up to square scores. The Indian under pressure hit two shots into the tin to give away. The slide began there before he briefly had the attention on him by plucking the third with a smart change of strategy and finding the drops well.

But the New Zealander was not to be stopped as he worked out a 11-9 11-8 8-11 11-5 win to earn a semi-final berth.
