Mumbai: Girls' U-15 top seed Aakanksha Rao of Maharashtra made a surprise exit in the 15 quarter-finals, in the Matunga Gymkhana Jr Open squash tournament yesterday.
Rao, a clear favourite for the title, was stunned by Aditi Prasad in four games — 13-11, 8-11, 11-6, 12-10. However, the other seeds — Ananya Dabke (U-11), Jannia Singh (U-13) had easy outings en route to the semi-finals.
