Rio Olympic silver medallist shuttler PV Sindhu took some time off to pose for a Sudirman Cup photoshoot at Surfers Paradise Beach at Gold Coast, Australia yesterday.
The 21-year-old Hyderabadi enjoyed the Australian sun with fellow shuttlers including Jonatan Christie of Indonesia and World No. 1 women’s doubles team of Misaki Matsutomo and Ayaka Takahashi of Japan.
Australian surf lifesaver and Ironwoman Kirsty Higgison and dual Olympic swimmer Cameron McEvoy joined them. The players enjoyed a unique badminton shuttlecock ice-cream created by the brand Yum Gelato.
