Thane duo Sanish Ambekar and Shruti Amrute fashioned exciting victories to win the youth boys' and junior girls' titles respectively in the JVPG 3rd Maharashtra State Ranking Table Tennis Tournament at the Juhu Vile Parle Gymkhana.

Rallying from a 1-3 deficit, second seed Sanish upset compatriot and top seed Siddhesh Pande 11-8, 9-11, 9-11, 8-11, 11-7, 11-9, 11-3 for the men's crown.
Meanwhile, third seed Shruti also rallied from a 0-2 deficit to overcome Shreya Deshpande 7-11, 8-11, 11-6, 11-7, 12-10, 11-8 in another exciting final.
Divya Mahajan won the women's crown, while Shrushti Haleangadi emerged as the youth girls' champion.
