World number one Lee Westwood of England carded an eight-under 64 Friday to take a three-stroke advantage after two rounds of the five-million-dollar Sun City Challenge.

And the 37-year-old who replaced American icon Tiger Woods at the top of the table recently was followed by the other four members of the victorious Europe 2010 Ryder Cup team competing in this 12-man invitation tournament.

Fellow Englishman Ross Fisher remained second in the chase for a record 1.25-million-dollar first prize by adding a 68 to his opening 67 at the 7162-metre Gary Player Country Club north-west of Johannesburg.

Overnight leader Padraig Harrington from Ireland had to settle for an even-par 72 and a share of third place on 138 with Spaniard Miguel Angel Jimenez and Italian Edoardo Molinari.
