The Willingdon Catholic Gymkhana floodlit rink hockey tournament will be held at the WCG tennis courts from November 25 to December 1.
The teams will be divided in four categories - men, women, school boys and school girls, with prominent teams like Indian Oil, Air India, ONGC, Western Railway, Central Railway, RCF, Union Bank, Mumbai Customs and SAI in the men’s category, informed Olympian and WCG Sports Secretary Merwyn Fernandes.
Former India hockey player and coach Joaquim Carvalho and General Secretary of WCG Richard Dais said that Olympians Devesh Chauhan, Dhanraj Pillay, Vikram Pillay, Adrian D’souza and Internationals Bharat Chikara, Roshan Minz, Nitin Kumar, Vikram Kant, Diwakar Ram, Yuvraj Walmiki, Vikas Sharma and Sunil Yadav will participate in this tournament.
