London: Andy Serkis will be directing the upcoming Warner Bros' film 'The Jungle Book', it has been revealed.
According to The Hollywood Reporter, the 49-year-old actor replaced Alejandro Gonzalez Inarritu, who had dropped out of the project because of scheduling conflicts, Metro.co.uk reported.
The film, which will be Serkis's first feature directorial debut, will feature Idris Elba as the voice of ferocious tiger Shere Khan.
