Argentina legend Diego Maradona lashed out at his children via a Facebook post on Thursday after they gave his 56th birthday party, held on October 30, a miss. Maradona had a low-key celebration.

He shared a meal with fiancee Rocio Oliva as well as son Diego and daughter Jana, whom he only recently accepted as his own kids. In the post he wrote: “I sent six first-class tickets to for my children and my grandson. Jana and Diego came. The other three tickets were for Dalma, Gianinna and Benjamin. “I had a great birthday in the end, but I undoubtedly expected a Whatsapp message, or a video from Dalma, Gianinna and my Babu, who is Benjamin. But I never received it. I’m not sad. But I am unhappy because nobody should do this to a father or a grandfather, whatever problems we may have.”
