Cheer for the festive season

Shop for Turkish jewellery, Pakistani suits and cocktail dresses inspired by Hollywood icon Audrey Hepburn for the festive season at a shopping exhibition in Andheri

Chunky neckpieces from Paryushi

The exhibition will include Indian and western wear by Spritzz and cocktail dresses under the label Hepburn by Shweta Bhatia. In keeping with the eternal style icon the label is named after, the emphasis is on fit rather than embellishments.

Besides dresses, Shweta also has salwar suits that have been especially sourced from Pakistan. "Each outfit is like a puzzle where the front section has something different, the back has a different material and the sleeves have something else on them," she says.

Kaftans in varying lengths
If you're looking to disguise the few kilos that you gained during the festive season, then opt instead for the printed kaftans available in different sizes and lengths, courtesy Studio Zafreen. The varying lengths of the flowy numbers mean that they can be worn over a churidhar or leggings, or just as a dress.

Accessorise yourself!

There's Turkish Jewellery by Chesm, or quartz and agates jewellery in various colours by Pink Basket to add an eclectic look to any outfit.

Christmas Tree and Star-shaped soaps by Pushtie S

If you're looking to make a statement, opt for the chunky neck pieces from Paryushi by Priti Buxani. Priti's also does stone and metal bibs that can work with Indian as well as western wear and boxed clutches in pop colours with jewelled clips. Purple also offers a range of clutches.

Home sweet home
Hand-painted boxes, planters and visiting card holders from pop-art label Fluke by Rashmi Dogra can help brighten up forgotten corners in your home. The self-taught artist handpaints all her products, which include colourful neck pieces and bags using automotive car paints and lacquer. Her Ipad covers are worth checking out. Also on offer are bath essentials by Pushtie S that include soaps in cutesy shapes.

Peep into the future
Keen to know whether your future includes more money and lots of shopping, you can drop by for a Tarot reading. Looking instead to give your tired feet a rest, get yourself a foot spa by Metta, an enterprise that helps the visually challenged be independent.
