There was mystery surrounding prolific batsman Cheteshwar Pujara's non-inclusion in any of the three teams (Rest of India, Board President's XI and India 'A') released by the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) on Tuesday.
MiD DAY has learnt that Pujara was not included as he is all set to get married to Puja Pabari in mid-February. They got engaged in November last year.u00a0

While the RoI team led by Virender Sehwag will play in the Irani Cup against Ranji Trophy champions Mumbai, Board President’s XI and India ‘A’ will play against Australia in the two tour games ahead of the four Test matches.
Pujara’s last competitive match was the Ranji Trophy quarter-final between Saurashtra and Karnataka on Jan 6-10. Though he was included in the India one-day team for the England series which the hosts won 3-2, Pujara ended up warming the bench. Pujara will be out of action for 41 days before the first Test from February 22.u00a0
