Shopping till you drop can be healthy, but only twice a month, says Nigar Khan. The television style candy talks to CS about how she manages selective shopping:

Gadget garish
I shop atleast twice a month. I won't say that I am a compulsive shopper, but I like shopping. Retail therapy is like an exercise to lift my mood. I don't get these crazy shopping pangs. When I'm out, I know what to spend on and how to budget myself. The one thing that really excites me are the gadgets in the market. I love upgrading my electronic stuff, whether I need it or not. I go ahead and splurge just like a kid who has enough toys but can still do with another one.

Gulf getaway
I love shopping in Dubai. It has lots of brands, too much variety and awesome malls. The malls in Dubai are so huge, that if you are not good enough in remembering directions, you can lose your way back. The next shopping destination on my wishlist is definitely Londonu00a0-- the shoppers paradise!

My recent holiday in Dubai was simply a shopper's dream come true. Out of my 15 days there, I spent almost 12 shopping. During one of these days, I bought some of my favourite dresses. But unfortunately, I lost a bag in a taxi. I was heartbroken. I traced the taxi through a couple of phone calls. Luckily, I remembered the taxi number, and by the end of the day, I was able to get in touch with the taxi driver. He was sweet enough to come and hand over my bags to me. I thanked him over and over again. Dubai completely rocks!

Brand struck
I wouldn't call myself a shopaholic, infact I really think hard before I buy something. I always check the quality before I spend my money on the item. I definitely prefer branded shopping over street stuff.
If I don't really need to shop, I don't. There are times when I fall prey to the temptation though. But, those days are rare so I go ahead and pamper myself. That's just a part of being a woman, I guess!
