Eesha gets it right

Eesha Narang seems to be playing too many roles all at once. And if this weren't enough, the lady wants become an Indian superwoman too. CS gets Eesha talking about all that she's been busy with:

Doing it my way
I'm not image conscious but I certainly am conscious about the roles I do. I'm looking for projects that are more meaningful and substantial. Once you enter the industry you enter the rath. In the beginning you do whatever comes to you, but that phase of my life is over. I will now do whatever I want to. I have decided to be choosy and do good films. I started out in the industry as a model. While I do regret having done certain films, for me what matters is the end. My mistakes have made me a better person and I believe whatever happens, happens for good.

Women on top
Unfortunately in our film industry, you are known by the number of days you are busy. If an actor is busy he is big. Another downside that I've noticed in B-town is the obsession with male dominated characters. In Hollywood there are so many movies that portray women in strong roles. Unfortunately heroine-centric films don't run for very long in our theatres. Movies like Fashion and Corporate did well and I hope to see more such films with strong female leads. Among the old-timers, I've enjoyed watching Rekha in Khoobsurat, Meenakshi Sheshadri in Damini and Nargis in Mother India. All these movies showcased very strong characters that were very well portrayed.

I am a warrior at heart. I believe that normal is boring. I love risks, challenges, adventure and action. My mantra is: No guts, no glory. I want to be India's answer to superwomen. My heroes are Bruce Lee and Jackie Chan. I love their action.u00a0

Marriage modification
Marriage has made me a better person in every way. I used to be a very independent, carefree girl because I was on my own. But, I seem to have changed for the better. Like they say, necessity is the mother of all invention. Once a women is married, she has different roles to play. I really don't know if I am a perfect wife or a perfect daughter-in-law, but I am trying my best to do a good job in every role, acting included!
