The latest to join the bandwagon of net-savvy politicians is Congress MP Sanjay Nirupam.
On Thursday at 11.32 pm, Nirupam wrote on Facebook, "One more promise delivered, regarding train to Konkan....Thanx to Mamatadiu00a0 for accepting my request to start Ganapati special trains to Konkan via Borivali.

Said Nirupam, "I need to tell the people who voted for me that I have not just made promises to them, but I am also acting on them.
Many people do not attend public meetings and are not aware of our work, especially those who are on networking sites.
This is the best way to inform them. People also comment on the posts, ask questions and give suggestions. I try to reply to the ones that are urgent."
The MP has also launched a website and claims to have received 6.3 lakh hits in six months.
"I have made many proposals for my constituency and once work starts on them, I will post all the projects on the site," he said.u00a0
