His love for automobiles is no secret, but the extent of that love certainly isn't common knowledge. CS got a glimpse of it at the Autocar Performance Show 2009 where the actor was seen ogling at all the hot wheels there and discussing vehicles at length.

In the driver's seat

His love for automobiles is no secret, but the extent of that love certainly isn't common knowledge. CS got a glimpse of it at the Autocar Performance Show 2009 where the actor was seen ogling at all the hot wheels there and discussing vehicles at length. Here's what he told us:

Scratch and lose

When it comes to cars, I simply love SUVs. I own a Tata Sierra, an Audi Q7 and a Gypsy. But frankly I prefer bikes to cars. I am extremely possessive of my automobiles. Just a couple of days ago, I scratched my Audi, and I went into depression. In fact even as we talk, I'm really upset about the damage, even though the scratch might hardly be visible to the eye. And guess what, I fell sick the very same day. See, my car and I even got knocked down together. Is that uncanny or what!

Hot wheels

I don't let anyone drive my cars. To be more specific, I don't let anyone touch them u2013 not even my girlfriend. I take personal offence if someone breaches these rules. Many people give their cars and bikes names, but I'm not one of those. In fact I find the whole idea quite insane. But yes, I do refer to my gaadis as 'she and her' because I think that women are the prettiest species on earth needless to say, I find my automobiles extremely beautiful.

The fast and furious

I would like to believe that I am a very safe driver/rider. I don't even exceed the 50 km speed limit on the Bandra-Worli Sea Link.

(Then flashing his trademark dimple, he adds) I do lie sometimes though. Jokes apart, I believe that it is absolutely essential to follow the traffic rules and wear a seat belt / helmet when you're on the road. You can't mess with these mean machines, after all.
