Nargis Fakhri leaves the promotions of her upcoming film 'Main Tera Hero' mid-way
Nargis Fakhri has left the promotions of her upcoming film, 'Main Tera Hero', due to her Hollywood commitment. Her co-stars Varun Dhawan and Ileana D’Cruz now have to go the extra mile to make up for her absence.
A source says, “Nargis promoted the film till March 26 and then left for the US for the shoot of her Hollywood film which is directed by Paul Feig.”
A spokesperson for the producers (Balaji Motion Pictures) states, “We were informed of her non-availability only this week.”
A source close to the production house adds, “Nargis’ US travel plans left the producers with no choice, but to cancel all the promotional activities that included only her. On her part, Nargis had told them that she will return to promote the film post its release, but nobody is sure if this will actually happen. The producers seem miffed with her action.”
Nargis, however, rubbished talk about the producers being upset with her. She said, “Varun, Ileana, Davidji (Dhawan) and the entire team have become an extended family to me. Varun knows that the Hollywood project is a big opportunity for me and he conveyed it to his father, and the film’s producers. I will be back to see the film through its final phase before the release.”
