In the last few days, Pooja Batra has been making her presence felt at several B-Town parties. She arrived with Preity Zinta for the Kambakkht Ishq success bash on Monday night. Earlier, she was also spotted at the film's trial show hobnobbing with the cast and crew.
The actress, who relocated to the US, after marrying orthopaedic surgeon Sonu Ahluwalia, is in town for both 
personal and professional reasons.
Based in Los Angeles, she now works in close coordination with the agents of Hollywood stars. In fact, she helped producer Sajid Nadiadwala acquire the Hollywood stars for his film the reason why her name figures in the credits of Kambakkht Ishq.
Staying put for a fortnight
Says Pooja, "I have been in Mumbai for over two weeks and will stay put for maybe another fortnight. This is where my family and friends are, so I arrive when I feel like. But this time, I came down especially for my dad. He has just had an eye surgery." She adds that her hubby had accompanied her but has now returned to the US.
"As I helped Sajid in the Hollywood casting for his movie, there was also reason to be in Mumbai when Kambakkht Ishq released."
For the rest of the days, Pooja will be catching up with her B-Town friends. "I don't want to name anyone but it is a delight to meet all of them. I have taken a chill pill so I catch up with them over long luncheons."
Interestingly, Kambakkht Ishq stars Akshay Kumar, who was linked with her at one point of time. Pooja does not want to say anything on this front that's ancient Indian history for her! "Baby, what a question that is?" she signs off.
