Tennis ace Serena Williams joined her good friend and US pop star Beyonce on stage during her performance of Sorry on the last night of the Formation tour in East Rutherford on Friday. Serena had earlier teased her appearance on Twitter, asking her followers to stand by for a surprise.
Yesterday, she then posted a picture of the black, fishnet, outfit she wore for the performance followed by a brief video of her act in which she's looking as confident on the stage as she is on the tennis court. This is not the first time the former World No 1 tennis player has performed with the pop icon.
The two are good friends and have a lot of mutual admiration for each other. Williams was earlier featured in Beyonce's music video for the song Lemonade, and has shared many a picture along with the singer on Instagram.
Beyonce too has soaked in Williams' sporting genius. She has been among the tennis star's special invitees to the US Open and Wimbledon.
