Zee TV will launch a weekly game show Kaarvan Kismat Ka every Monday at 10.30 pm from July 29. The amount at stake is Rs 10 lakh and the winner takes it all.The programme hosted by Jaaved Jaffrey will have six contestants vying for the cash prize. It is produced by Miditech Productions.
It is a fun, lively show put together by the UK-based Chatterbox Productions, says Partha Sinha, vice-president (marketing), Zee TV, thats why we have chosen Jaffrey as the anchor. Unlike other games, in Kaarvan Kismat Ka all of the multiple answers for the GK questions are correct except one.
One would need to avoid choosing the wrong answer.
Interestingly, the faces of all six players will be loaded into the virtual treasure trail lottery machine through a computer-driven graphic system. Once the machine starts, the players faces tumble around. One player will be selected at random and this player answers first.
There is great excitement and tension in how Jaffrey reveals who has picked the wrong answer, adds Sinha who claims that this show is not based on any Western show but was conceived especially for Zee.
During the show, Playwins Sikkim Thunderball will also be telecast.
And the reason to call it Kaarvan Kismat Ka had nothing to do with numerology. A caravan is always in search of a treasure. In this game too the participants are chasing one. Thats why the title, says Sinha.
