EAM S Jaishankar held a delegation level meeting with Ukraine Foreign Minister Dmytro Kuleba on March 29 in Delhi. Sri Lankan Foreign Minister Ali Sabry launched a scathing attack on Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau for his allegations against India. Sabry said that some of the terrorists have found safe haven in Canada. "Some of the terrorists have found safe haven in Canada. Now, UN Secretary-General lauded India’s efforts to become a voice of the Global South and bring nations on one platform.Amid geopolitical differences, G20 nations reached a 100 per cent consensus and adopted the New Delhi Declaration. In a landmark decision during G20 Summit 2023, the African Union became a permanent member of the group. Throughout its presidency, India has been making a strong pitch for the countries which are not a part of the G20 grouping. Nine nations, which are not a part of the group, were invited for the G20 Leaders’ Summit in New Delhi. Bangladesh, Egypt, Mauritius, Netherlands, Nigeria, Oman, Singapore, Spain and UAE were invited to the G20 New Delhi Summit.

External Affairs Minister S Jaishankar addressed the India-Japan Forum 2023 with his Japanese Counterpart in New Delhi on July 28. During the question-answer session, EAM was asked to dance with Japanese FM on the iconic ‘Naatu Naatu’ from RRR. To this, EAM S Jaishankar jokingly said that he would not dance with Japan’s Foreign Minister. Both Jaishankar and Hayashi were asked about their favourite movies from each other’s countries. To this, Hayashi said that he loves the movie RRR. Then he was asked to dance with Dr S Jaishankar. Reacting to it, EAM Jaishankar jokingly said that he would not dance with him (Yoshimasa Hayashi).

External Affairs Minister S Jaishankar on June 08 interacted with Social Media Influencers in Delhi. Interactive session took place in Delhi’s Tagore Garden on the occasion of 9 years of the Modi Govt. One of the influencers was highly impressed with Foreign Minister’s behaviour and body language. Influencer heaped praises on Jaishankar for his ‘friendly’ nature and said that his behaviour is better than other ministers.
