Led by its Director Ravi Shankar Sharma, Vidastu Build draws on over 25 years of construction experience in the NCR. Ravi has been building in Greater Noida since 2000, with experience spanning commercial developments, residential projects and low-rise group housing. Years spent across different building formats have given him an understanding of construction that extends beyond drawings to the realities of execution, materials and site conditions.
Working alongside him is his son, Vidit Kaushik, Director at Vidastu Build, who is a Civil Engineering Graduate from BITS Pilani. Vidit oversees site execution and brings newer construction techniques, engineering processes and project-management practice to the sites. Together, the two bring different forms of expertise to the same table: judgement shaped by years on site and a newer engineering perspective focused on precision.
"Twenty-five years on Greater Noida sites teach you that a house is won or lost at the structural stage, inside the slab, the columns and the waterproofing, the parts a visitor never sees. That is the stage where we refuse to hurry. Finishes can be redone. Structure cannot," says Ravi Shankar Sharma, Director, Vidastu Build.
The company is currently constructing independent homes across YEIDA, Greater Noida and Noida. Rather than approaching these homes as standardised products, Vidastu Build works around the individual plot, its dimensions, permissible construction, orientation and the requirements of the homeowner.
That site-specific approach begins before the structure rises. Planning, drawings, approvals from YEIDA, GNIDA and the Noida Authority and construction specifications are considered as interconnected decisions rather than isolated stages. Once work moves to site, attention shifts to ensuring that what has been designed is translated accurately into the building itself. In independent-home construction, small decisions taken during the structural stage can have a lasting effect on proportions, circulation and the eventual quality of the interiors.
Transparency is built into the process. Construction is structured around defined stages and milestone-based payments, giving homeowners greater visibility over progress. Regular site updates, including photographs and videos, allow clients to follow the work even when they cannot be physically present.
This is especially relevant for NRI homeowners and clients living outside the NCR region. Building remotely can otherwise mean coordinating separately with architects, contractors, vendors and local teams. By bringing planning, execution and site supervision within a more consolidated framework, Vidastu Build makes the process easier to follow from a distance.
"Many of our clients live outside NCR, and some are overseas. They should not need to stand on site to know where their house stands. So the process carries the proof: drawings resolved before work begins, payments linked to completed stages rather than dates, and photographs and video at every milestone that the owner can check from anywhere," says Vidit Kaushik, Director, Vidastu Build.
