Dibakar Banerjee adapts Ray's short story for next

Filmmaker Dibakar Banerjee will bring late filmmaker Satyajit Ray's short story on the big screen with his segment in Bombay Talkies, a film where four filmmakers are contributing with four different stories.


Banerjee's story is titled "Star". Set in a Maharashtrian backdrop, it is about father and son bonding and Nawazuddin Siddiqui and Shiv Amrapurkar will play the lead roles respectively.

Karan Johar, Zoya Akhtar and Anurag Kashyap are also making creative contribution to "Bombay Talkies", which will release May 3.u00a0
