Actor Aditi Bhatia recently met Hollywood star Reese Witherspoon at a promotional event for 'Elle,' the upcoming prequel series to the hit film 'Legally Blonde,' in New York.

The 'Kerala Story 2' actress shared pictures from the event on her Instagram Stories on Thursday. In the photos, the actors were seen dressed in pink outfits, a colour closely linked with the 'Legally Blonde' franchise. Reese wore an off-shoulder pink dress, while Aditi chose a pastel embellished gown.

Another photo showed the two smiling and chatting together during a candid moment at the event.

Reese Witherspoon, who played the lead role in the 2001 film 'Legally Blonde,' is the executive producer of 'Elle.'

The series stars Lexi Minetree as a young Elle Woods and will premiere on Prime Video on July 1, 2026.

Set in 1995, Elle follows the early life of Elle Woods before she joined Harvard Law School. The series shows her school life, friendships, family relationships and the experiences that helped shape her future. The first season will have eight episodes, and Prime Video has already ordered a second season.

Released in 2001, Legally Blonde followed the journey of Elle Woods, a fashionable college student who joins law school and proves that she is much more than what people expect

Aditi Bhatia became a household name after she played Ruhi Bhalla in the television show 'Yeh Hai Mohabbatein.' She was recently seen in 'The Kerala Story 2' alongside Aishwarya Ojha and Ulka Gupta.

The film was a sequel to the National Award-winning 'The Kerala Story', which came out in 2023. It follows the lives of three young women who fall into what the film describes as deceptive marriages and face alleged forced religious conversions.
