Bollywood actor-director Ajay Devgn's spokesperson confirmed that his upcoming directorial 'Shivaay' featured no Pakistani artistes. This statement comes on the heels of the temporary ban on Pakistani actors by India following the Uri attacks that caused a strain in Indo-Pak relations.
According to a report from Times of India, reacting to rumours that Pakistani actress Saba Qamar was cast in 'Shivaay', Ajay's spokesperson issued an official statement, which read, "Actress Saba Qamar or any other Pakistani actor or actress is not a part of Shivaay."
Meanwhile, political party Maharashtra Navnirman Sena has sought a ban on 'Ae Dil Hai Mushkil' and 'Raees,' which star Pakistani actors Fawad Khan and Mahira Khan respectively.
