Ajji, the first film from Yoodlee Films, has been a festival favourite and is now the critic's choice for the weekend. After doing the rounds of international film festivals and garnering critical appreciation from the juries, Ajji has hit theatres. The film, a dark take on Red Riding Hood, is about a 65-year-old frail grandmother, who takes revenge on the man who rapes her nine-year-old granddaughter. Hailed for the stark portrayal of those who live on the fringes, and its superlative performances, Ajji is garnering praise from international and national critics.

Siddharth Anand Kumar, head, Yoodlee Films, says, "Ajji is special since it's Yoodlee Films' first release. To see the overwhelming love and support it has got from critics and audiences is testimony to the promise of fearless filmmaking we propagate under our banner.
