Actor Alia Bhatt recently gave fans a glimpse into daughter Raha Kapoor's growing personality, revealing that the little one already seems to enjoy the spotlight. Speaking at the Amrit Ratna 2026 summit in New Delhi, Alia shared that while she always dreamed of becoming an actor, Raha is showing signs of being a natural performer.
The actor, who welcomed Raha with husband Ranbir Kapoor in November 2022, spoke candidly about motherhood and her daughter's interests during a conversation at the event.
Recalling her own childhood dreams, Alia said she spent hours performing in front of the mirror and always knew she wanted to be an actor. When asked if Raha was showing similar traits, the actor couldn't help but gush about her daughter.
"She is also meant for the stage, if I can say so myself," Alia said with a laugh.
Sharing more about Raha's interests, she added, "She loves many things. She has a keen interest in sports and activities. She is quite a movie buff and really enjoys listening to songs. She wants to dance. She picks up steps very fast."
The proud mother revealed that Raha is currently exploring different interests, from sports and dance to art, while developing her own unique personality.
"My little girl is still growing and observing and putting her hand into different things, whether it's art, dance or sports. But she's a leader and a thinker in her own way," Alia added.
Alia and Ranbir tied the knot in April 2022 after dating for several years. The couple welcomed Raha later that year and introduced her to the public during a Christmas celebration in 2023.
On the professional front, Alia is gearing up for the release of Alpha, the latest addition to the YRF Spy Universe. Directed by Shiv Rawail, the action thriller stars Sharvari and Bobby Deol in pivotal roles and is slated to hit theatres on July 3.
The actor also has Sanjay Leela Bhansali's Love & War in the pipeline, where she will share screen space with Ranbir Kapoor and Vicky Kaushal.
While fans continue to eagerly await her upcoming releases, Alia's latest comments have shifted the spotlight to little Raha, who, if her mother is to be believed, may already be displaying some star qualities of her own.
