A video of Alia Bhatt and her daughter Raha from the birthday celebration of Varun Dhawan and Natasha Dalal's daughter, Lara, has taken social media by storm. The clip has Alia Bhatt and her daughter Raha enjoying the intimate birthday party, while their adorable interaction has won the hearts of fans.
Varun Dhawan's daughter, Lara, turned two years old on June 3. The family celebrated the occasion with a private party attended by close friends and family members. Among the guests were Alia Bhatt and her three-year-old daughter Raha.
The now-viral video shows Raha having a great time in the play area along with other children, while Alia Bhatt is seen gesturing to her to come closer. As Raha rushes towards her mother, Alia holds her hand. The Alpha actress can be seen keeping it casual in a black top and jeans, while Raha looked cute in a pink and white checkered frock with a blue bow.
Notably, Alia and Varun share a long-standing friendship and professional relationship that dates back to the beginning of their careers. The two made their Bollywood debut together in Student of the Year (2012), which was helmed by Karan Johar. The film introduced the two, along with Sidharth Malhotra, as fresh faces, marking the start of a successful on-screen partnership.
Over the years, the two have starred in several popular films together, including Humpty Sharma Ki Dulhania (2014), Kalank (2019) and Badrinath Ki Dulhania (2017). Their chemistry, comic timing and friendship, both on and off screen, has helped them become one of the industry's most loved on-screen pairings. Even off the big screen, Alia and Varun are known for their warm friendship and fun banter.
Alia Bhatt welcomed her first child, daughter Raha, in November 2022 with Ranbir Kapoor. Meanwhile, Varun Dhawan and his wife Natasha Dalal welcomed their daughter Lara in June 2024. As the actors navigate their new roles as parents, it seems like their respective daughters, Raha and Lara also share a warm bond of friendship just like their parents.
