Aruna Irani: We didn't know 'Kaliyon Ka Chaman' would become a rage

Aruna Irani, who featured in the original 'Kaliyon Ka Chaman' song composed by Bappi Lahiri, says the song went on to become a rage unexpectedly.

Aruna Irani said, "We always knew the song was special because it's something I would hum to even after the shoot was over. But of course, we didn't expect it to become such a rage, something that people would still sing as the years passed on."

"I know he was in a lot of pain towards the end because of Covid-19 and couldn't walk properly. He was a true artiste. I was always happy to meet and interact with him at film functions. We have lost another gem from the film industry," Aruna Irani signed off.
