Dharmendra and his first wife, Prakash Kaur, are celebrating their 71st wedding anniversary today, and their son, Bobby Deol, had the sweetest wish for his parents. The Animal actor wished their parents shared a rare, unseen photo of the couple on his Instagram. For the unversed, Dharmendra's personal life and marriages have often been an intriguing topic, given his second marriage with Hema Malini despite not divorcing his first wife.
Bobby Deol took to Instagram to wish his parents with a unseen photo. In the picture, Dharmendra is all smiles as he poses alongside his first wife. The Sholay actor is seen wearing a garland of roses around his neck in the photo.

Bobby kept the caption simple, short and sweet as he wrote, "Happy anniversary Maa and Papa", followed by a string of red-heart emojis.
For the unversed, Dharmendra married Prakash Kaur in 1954. This was when he was just 19 years old and had yet to make a mark in the industry. The couple have four children together, two sons, Sunny Deol and Bobby Deol, and two daughters, Ajeeta Deol and Vijeta Deol.
More than 15 years after their marriage, Dharmendra met actress Hema Malini in 1970. They met for the first time on the sets of their film Tum Haseen Main Jawaan. Their pair was loved by the audience. However, when they decided to get married, Hema's parents were not in favour of it. Despite of the difficulties they faced, the couple tied the knot in 1980. They have daughters together, namely, Esha Deol and Ahana Deol.
Interestingly, despite his marriage to Hema Malini in 1980, he never got divorced from Prakash Kaur. His first wife is known to maintain a simple life, and rarely makes public appearances.
Last year, on the occasion of his anniversary with Hema Malini, the Dream Girl had posted pictures from their celebrations on her Instagram account. In the photo, the actress-turned-politician was spotted holding her husband's hand as they smiled and posed for the camera. "Our anniversary photos", she mentioned in the caption.
