Actors Shahid Kapoor, Kriti Sanon and Rashmika Mandanna are currently busy, seen across the country promoting their upcoming film Cocktail 2. The trio was recently seen visiting a mall in Pune as part of the film's promotional activity. However, the exciting fan event soon turned into a chaotic affair when an overwhelmed crowd tried to breach security barricades and get close to the actors. Amid the frenzy, Kriti's protective gesture towards Rashmika has caught the internet's attention, winning widespread praise.

A video from the event has surfaced online showing a massive crowd flooding towards the actors, leaving all three, Shahid, Kriti and Rashmika struggling to move through the venue. According to reports and onlookers at the venue, the promotional event had to be cut short after fans broke through security barricades.

As the situation turned chaotic, Shahid appeared visibly frustrated as he struggled to make his way, pushing through the crowd. Kriti, on the other hand, was seen holding on tightly to Rashmika Mandanna and shielding her from the pushing crowd while security escorted them out of the venue. Kriti appeared visibly alert throughout, carefully guiding her co-star through the sea of fans.

Earlier during the meet and greet, the three were seen indulging in vada pav as part of the promotional activity, a vodeo of which has since gone viral.

Several social media users criticised the crowd management at the venue and went on to describe the behaviour of the attendees as "pathetic".

Directed by Homi Adajania, Cocktail 2 is a spiritual sequel to the 2012 hit Cocktail. It features Shahid Kapoor, Kriti Sanon and Rashmika Mandanna in the lead roles. The film revolves around a love triangle, with Shahid's character having to choose between the two women.
